The Voice Of The Blood
The Blood Of Jesus Speaks
"Just you take come ……. to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks ameliorate things than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:22-24 NKJV
In my last mail, we discussed the power and significance of the blood of Jesus in salvation. I strongly encourage you to click Here to read it before scrolling downwardly. This post is a continuation and focuses on ten critical spiritual benefits we receive through the blood of Jesus.
His Blood Speaks Meliorate Things
In the Scripture above, the writer of the volume of Hebrews compares the blood of Jesus with Abel's. Cain killed Abel in a fit of jealousy because God accepted Abel's cede but rejected his. (Genesis 4:2-8) Although Abel was dead, his blood had a vocalisation, which cried out for vengeance to God. (Genesis four:x) God heard and responded by punishing Cain.
While Abel's blood cried for vengeance, Jesus' claret "speaks better things" to God on our behalf.
The vocalization of the blood of Jesus echoes the same things that the blood has accomplished on our behalf.
Practise y'all know what Jesus did for you through his blood?
Are you in agreement with the vox of his blood that speaks to God on your behalf and declares the same truths over your life?
Personal Experience
I experienced a serial of nightmares late last year. One specific night, I awoke with a stiff prompting in my sprint to meditate on Scriptures about the blood of Jesus.
Jesus' claret was e'er speaking over me, simply I wasn't entirely in sync. After studying the Scriptures, my spiritual ears were tuned by the Holy Spirit to the same frequency. Faith came to me through the Word of God concerning his claret, and victory followed.
Organized religion in the blood of Jesus comes through an understanding of what it accomplished for y'all and what it will practise for yous in your current circumstances.
Beneath is a listing of ten critical spiritual realities, which we admission through Jesus' shed blood. These stand for some of the "improve things," that Jesus' blood speaks on our behalf. I invite you to take hold of your Bibles. Mark, highlight, meditate and let your faith arise as y'all declare these Scriptures out of your mouths and employ them to your lives.
Reminder: read the first post Here before scrolling downward!
1) You are Forgiven
Death and the shedding of blood are a requirement for the forgiveness of sins. Just the blood of Jesus could take our sins completely away. Equally believers in Christ, our sins have been washed by his blood. We have been freed from the stain, shame, guilt, and consequence of sin. For more details, see my last post here.
"In fact, the police requires that most everything be cleansed with claret, and without the shedding of bloodthere is noforgiveness." Hebrews 9:22
"and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and hasfreed the states from our sins past his blood," Revelation ane:5
God forgives us completely at the point of conservancy, but He does not take our free will or our emotions abroad from us. We are not robots. Hence, we can choose betwixt His holy style and our naturally sinful way of doing things. It'southward so awesome to know that the same blood of Jesus, which washed our sins away at salvation, cleanses and purifies usa if we sin afterward. The requirement is that we apologize, confess our sins to God, and live in harmony with each other.
"But if we walk in the calorie-free, as he is in the low-cal, nosotros take fellowship with i another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is non in us. If we confess our sins, he is true-blue and just and volition forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." one John one:seven-nine
two) You lot are Redeemed
Through his suffering and expiry on the cross, Jesus' shed blood paid the toll necessary to redeem usa. He purchased us from captivity to sin and the devil and transferred the states into His kingdom. Ezekiel eighteen:20 states that "The person who sins will die," and according to Psalm 49:7 (NLT), "Yet they cannot redeem themselves from death by paying a ransom to God. " Merely the blood of Jesus Christ could pay the ransom for us. He paid in full, and nosotros no longer owe God the debt of our lives as payment for sin.
Sin prevented u.s. from having fellowship with God, but the blood of Jesus paid the price necessary to reconcile usa to God. Since the price has been paid, we don't have to go through life weighed downwards by the burden of past sins.
"For you know that it was not with perishable things such every bit silverish or gold that you wereredeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, simply with the preciousblood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." 1 Peter 1:18-xix
"He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; simply he entered the Virtually Holy Place one time for all by his ownblood, thus obtaining eternalredemption." Hebrews 9:12
" In him we haveredemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accord with the riches of God's grace." Ephesians i:7
"You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And haveredeemed usa to God by Yourclaret out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation," Revelation 5:9 NKJV
iii) You are Justified
To exist justified is to be alleged righteous and "no longer guilty" by God. Jesus took the wrath we deserved on himself when he died and shed his claret. In the sight of God, it is "just as if we never sinned." When God looks at us, He sees us through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Righteousness means right standing before God, which we can never attain based on how good or morally upright nosotros are. Neither can we achieve information technology by keeping commandments, rules, and regulations. The righteousness that is from God comes past faith to all who believe in Jesus' finished work on the cantankerous.
"Since we have now beenjustified past his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!" Romans 5:9
4) You are Reconciled to God
Reconciliation is necessary to bring sinners into an intimate relationship and fellowship with God. Because of sin, nosotros were separated from God, unable to enjoy the benefits of His presence and promises. The shed claret of Jesus blotted our sins away, brought us dorsum to a peaceful relationship with God, and united us with Him.
"and through him toreconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through hisblood, shed on the cross." Colossians 1:20
5) You are Holy
We are washed in the claret of Jesus, consecrated, and set autonomously by God to exist used past Him. Equally believers, we are alleged holy by God at the moment of salvation. We are also called to live a lifestyle of holiness, which reflects our human relationship to God.
"And then Jesus likewise suffered outside the city gate to make the peopleholy through his ownblood." Hebrews 13:12
"For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are beingness madeholy." Hebrews 10:xiv
six) Yous Accept Eternal Life
Eternal life is the life of God. Those who believe in Jesus and place their faith in his finished work on the cantankerous receive eternal life. Leviticus 17:eleven tells usa that life is in the blood. The life of Jesus is in his blood. At the indicate of salvation, your quondam sinful nature died, and you received a make new life through the Holy Spirit. Eternal life means that you lot now take the life of God/ life of Christ in your spirit. In the words of apostle Paul, "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, just Christ lives in me." (Galatians 2:20a)
"Jesus said to them, "Very truly I tell you, unless you consume the flesh of the Son of Human being and beverage hisblood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood haseternal life, and I will heighten them upwards at the last solar day." John 6:53-54
Eternal life starts here on world and continues into eternity in heaven. No i will access sky unless the claret of Jesus Christ has done them. "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, simply whoever rejects the Son will not run into life, for God's wrath remains on them." (John three:36)
vii) You Have Direct Access to God
I tin can boldly come into God's presence at any time "t" because of the blood of Jesus. I don't have to beg, plead, or crank upward my emotions to talk with God through prayer and conversations. The claret of Jesus has already opened the way for me. And the all-time part is that He speaks to me. Aye, the God of the universe speaks to me, and I hear Him.
As long as y'all have placed your religion in the finished piece of work of Christ on the cross, you can bask intimate, uninhibited conversations with God.
"Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have conviction toenter the Almost Holy Place by theclaret of Jesus," Hebrews 10:19
"But now in Christ Jesus y'all who once were far abroad have beenbrought virtually past the blood of Christ." Ephesians 2:13
8) The New Covenant Promises are Yours to Enjoy
Under the Old Covenant, the Jews struggled to keep the whole constabulary, but the law could never result in in transformation. Instead, it brought condemnation and sin consciousness. (Romans three:20, 5:20; two Corinthians iii:9, Hebrews 7:xix)
Jesus came as the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 10:4) By his decease, he brought the New Covenant into effect. He shed his blood to guarantee the "better promises" of the New Covenant to all who believe in him. (Hebrews vii:22, 8:6)
"This is myblood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Matthew 26:28
"In the same style, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is thenew covenant in my claret, which is poured out for you." Luke 22:20
Our salvation does not come up through obedience to rules and regulations. Conservancy is a gift of God'due south grace, which nosotros receive by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. (Acts fifteen:11; Ephesians two:8-nine, Galatians 3:xi) God writes His laws on the tablets of our hearts and minds and empowers united states through His souvenir of the Holy Spirit to hear Him, know Him intimately and obey Him. (Hebrews viii:10-11) It is but through the New Covenant that we can delight God and access His promises provided in the Word.
Communion, which is sharing in the torso and body of Christ, reminds us that our human relationship with God is based on the New Covenant established past the blood of Jesus. We are never to forget his broken trunk and shed blood.
9) You lot are Healed
Earlier his crucifixion, Jesus was beaten, whipped, scourged, and marred across recognition. (Isaiah 52:14) He bled many times for you and me.
The Greek word used for salvation in the Bible isSozo.Sozo is an umbrella word that encompasses forgiveness, healing, deliverance, and soundness.
Jesus suffered and bled that y'all may be saved, healed, delivered, and made whole. Psalm 103:2-3 highlights the bond between the forgiveness of sins and the healing of our bodies. "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all yoursins and heals all your diseases." I encourage you not to leave any gift unwrapped at the foot of the cantankerous. Open and savor them all. (See also Matthew eight:17; James v:xiv,15)
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the penalty that brought us peace was on him, andpast his wounds nosotros are healed." Isaiah 53:5
"He himself bore our sins" in his torso on the cross, and so that we might dice to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds y'all take been healed." 1 Peter two:24
10) Y'all are Victorious
God raised Moses to evangelize the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Ix plagues later, Pharaoh's heart remained hardened, and he refused to gratuitous them. Just before the terminal plague, each Israelite family obeyed God's instruction to slaughter a spotless lamb and smear its blood "on the sides and tops of the doorframes" of their homes. At midnight, every firstborn son in Egypt died, only the Israelites were spared. Because of the blood, the Lord passed over the Jews and did non permit the destroyer to enter their homes. (Exodus 12)
Jesus Christ is our true Passover Lamb. (i Corinthians v:seven; Revelation 13:8) The events of the Passover during the Exodus from Egypt were a reflection or foreshadowing of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
When nosotros receive Jesus, his claret is practical to our lives. If the Israelites were protected past animate being blood that represented a shadow of Christ's blood, how much more than will we be protected and stand up victorious by the blood of Christ?
"The blood will exist a sign for you on the houses where y'all are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will bear on yous when I strike Arab republic of egypt." Exodus 12:13
"Theytriumphed over him past the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to compress from death." Revelation 12:xi
The Discussion of our Testimony
We overcome Satan past openly declaring the Word concerning what Jesus' claret has accomplished for us. Jesus is the "Loftier Priest of our confession." (Hebrews 3:ane NKJV) When the words of our mouth agree with the Word, Jesus advocates on our behalf, and God brings information technology to laissez passer.
Victorious Christians are not wishy-washy, lukewarm, Church building 'bench warmers.' Even if it costs them their lives, they remain committed to pleasing God. They are bold and unashamed to declare the proper name of Jesus Christ and the power in his blood.
Think near that!
Prayer and Proclamation
The blood of Jesus is active in my everyday life. It speaks and powerfully works to ensure that everything God provided for me in Christ becomes a reality.
Thank yous, Father, for sending Jesus to die on the cross for me. I thanks that by his claret, I am forgiven, redeemed, justified, and made holy in Your sight. Through the blood, You accept given me eternal life and the right to every promise under the New Covenant. I take direct access to Yous, and I stand up victorious over the devil and all his schemes of diseases, plagues, and disasters.
I receive the power of the blood over my spirit, soul, and torso. By faith, my thoughts, words, and actions will align with everything the blood of Jesus speaks over me.
I rest my case on the power of the blood of Jesus. I stand up in faith to receive everything Jesus' shed blood has accomplished for me and speaks over me. Amen!!
