Megalodon Spawn Rate
Has anybody else noticed a *significant* drop in the 1000000 spawn rates during this summer event? I went from seeing 5-6 a session to 0-1.

I can't tell if it's the "a watched pot never boils" miracle or if the spawn rate is actually lower, just it is always harder to find megalodons when I'm hunting for them.

I find them all the time doing cargo runs, I think it'south easier that way because you're covering large stretches of ocean

That'south a good tip. Thanks, didn't think of that. I need 1-2more. We have seemingly reduced numbers too. 1 per session.

It's the same rate for me, up when I am not hunting them and down when I am hunting them.

ive had this issue likewise. i know everything consistently says that loot, send size, number of players, etc. doesnt effect the spawn rate.... but im gonna load up my ship tonight considering the megs seem to spawn more when i take a decent loot booty

Opposite for me. I haven't seen a skeleton ship all week, simply megs every 20 minutes.

It'southward most likely because 1. Watched pot never boils and two. Before, y'all weren't hunting megs, so the megs would go along respawning until y'all kill one. This means that earlier, y'all were having the same encounter multiple times. Now that you lot are killing them, the megs are leaving you alone.

I concord, I have played a few games at present. I just feel similar I am getting maybe 1 1000000 for 4 hours played. I felt like I saw a lot more earlier.

I go along playing for multi-hour sessions without seeing a single one. Clearly they want people to have to buy this send set next update. It's pretty shitty.
